UPDATE: You all were great on this one--I wanted to choose them all. By a slim edge:

Jeff Miller: This historic picture shows the first disastrous attack of what later became known as the Segway Crusade. The fatal flaw was that the Crusader could only hold his shield or sword, but not both at the same time.

Special kudos to CMinor for incorporating the handicapped sign.

" I said I was going on crusade, I didn't say I was going to walk the whole way... what do you think this is the children's crusade of 1212?"

It is a little-known fact that the Apostle Paul employed some innovative methods of travel on his numerous journeys. (That "thorn in his flesh," incidentally, qualified him for the handicapped parking permit.)

The first in a series of images documenting the incident that led to the New Knights of the Temple Mount (New Templars) banning the wearing of capes when riding their mounts. The Templar Grand Master pictured survived the ordeal with minor injuries however his cape was ripped to shreds by the Segue.
