Stephen Colbert Defends Objective Reality Against Postmodern Corporations

And in our current episode: our superhero Stephen Colbert traps, attacks, reams, and spits upon the evil villian called the Postmodern Construction of Reality, aka Wikipedia, assisted by behemoth corporation Microsoft, in seek of a moral compass.

"Wikilobbying: Reality has become a commodity." Not.
(I love, love, love, love this; a gracious hat tip to Locusts and Honey.)

The best part is that the makers of wikipedia have since put a lock on the "reality" entry so that it can't be changed. However when you look up the protection policy you find a different story.

Ironic Catholicl; where were you when I was getting scolded by the Catholic blogsphere for championing Colbert!??!?!? haha

I wouldn't champion everything that comes from his mouth, and I don't even watch his show (no cable). But when he's on, he's SO on.

I've quite enjoyed Colbert at time. I just wish he had a video podcast.
