If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you. -- Oscar Wilde
these are tiptoes? do i understand right?
Ugly.I'm sorry, I.C.. I know you were looking for something witty, but "ugly" is the first thing that leapt to mind.
Scene from the latest of edition of Heaven's Funniest Home Videos! The angel Klutzomel ascends too slowly and gets his feet in this shot. This experimental religious art installation was swiftly shut down because the bishop feared too many people were trying to look up Jesus' robe!Or maybe it's a demonstration of the tragic things that happen when the Zen Yogi firewalking class meets directly above Iconarium.Actually, this is a pic from the instructional booklet "18 things to do with our rubber severed feet gag and an oversized bundt cake pan." You really don't want to know what the other 17 are!
Honey, I told you that ceiling needed to be repaired!!!
From infancy to ascension in one photo shoot.
It does make me rethink the phrase "going through the roof!"
Cathy of Alex...I never claimed it was pretty! ;) Just odd.
For those who cannot pray the Our Father without a hand to hold, reach up...
The sky is falling! The sky is falling!Oh, wait. It's the second coming! It's the second coming!
C'mon, IC... how can you possibly caption this one?? I mean, this is the Chapel of the Ascension in the Anglican church at Walsingham......you couldn't invent this stuff!(I have to confess to doing my best to destroy ecumenical relations here: after wandering round all the Rosary Mystery Chapels, I got to this one - the Second Glorious - and was a little confused by the painting (the photo disguises how tiny the chapels are)... and then I looked up... and guffawed out loud!!)
If only that blinding reflection was a bit higher...
I thought those things hanging down were gloves -- what are those dark things if not fingers?
It's Anglicans? How about..."Ooooo, Jesus, who does your pedicure!? It's absolutely fab!"
Into thy hands, Lord, I commend my artwork
Jesus, those mudflaps are defective. And so is the ceiling. And the artwork. Get an attorney, quick!
I took this photo because whenever I see the real thing, it makes me smile and pray and reflect on Christs love for us. I am afraid that I have never had nor thought of a pedicure in my life.
