Ironic Christian Poetry

The poet (performing her poem around London) is named Jude Simpson. Deacon Scott Dodge's excellent but-you-need-Greek-letters-to-spell-it-out-correctly blog pointed this one out when I got my rant on yesterday. (Go see his more serious thoughts on Mother Teresa, which I still can't believe he dug out from my rant! He's good!) The written text of the poem is here at rejesus.

..."How can you say 'follow me' when I don't even know where you are?"
Keep in mind, this poem is firmly tongue in cheek. Irony is like that.

Finally someone drives home the point that we worship God, not the other way around.
