A church is an escape from what passes as fun, amusing, hilarious. And escapes from insanity can be fun . . .

I always have fun by not opening my hymnal and singing the verses the old way instead of the new nongender specific ways. And I sing loud. Oh what fun!

Maybe they're putting up a new building NEXT to that church where the fun happens, because I don't ever recall any fun happening at a church, including weddings... ;)

Looking at the enlarged image, I'd say "Adult Fun" wasn't the first business in that shop, and judging from the grafitti all over the sign it might be no longer extant (whereas the church, as the photographer points out, was.)

Thus I think we could view this photo as a metaphor for the persistence of Holy Mother Church even when pursuits of the flesh have passed away!
