Unfortunate Blog References in Mass

You know how you hear something familiar for the first time?

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found--
'Twas blind, but now I.C.

I'm pretty sure I am scarred for life.

Fortunately, "Allen's Brain" is a rarely-mentioned topic in church.

Wonder how the sight impaired view that song (no pun intended.)

This is why I am so embarrassed every time I hear India's national anthem.

I remember a couple of years ago, I was walking through a grocery store and I heard music playing softly over the PA system. And I suddenly realized "Hey, they're playing the theme to Hitman!" I thought that it was really cool would play the soundtrack of a video game. And then I realized that it was just "Ave Maria."

Now, whenever I hear "Ave Maria", I don't think of the Virgin Mary, but Agent 47.

I'll never sing that again in quite the same way! LOL

Did you ever hear the one "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou 'a monk swimmin' ' and blessed..."

I think that was the title of a book, if I remember correctly...

This just goes to show that I have too much of a blogger's brain: When I hear a bank commercial on the radio, and the announcer at the end says: "FDIC Insured", the first thing that comes to mind is the Ironic Catholic.

Larry-Ha!

Now I can't sing in church **or** go into a bank!

How Funny, but I do hope that it does not stick in my head. I really love that song. I also enjoyed reading many of the comments left as well. Thanks so much for sharing.
