There's a reason I haven't been writing as much

baby

Another chic! (child of the Ironic Catholic!)

...The reason I haven't been writing many pieces for the blog is because I've been feeling moody, nauseous, and dead tired. Also occasionally happy, but that happiness capital I have been trying to spend on my family and students more than the blog.

So, now you know. If you are a local friend who reads the blog, my kids do not know. Please don't tell them. I'm waiting two more weeks to tell them to be more certain I do not miscarry (which at 41 pushing 42, isn't an out of the ballpark possibility).

Woot! Read via google reader ALL the time, rarely (if ever!) have commented. Blessings! I had our fourth (miscarried one dear baby in my mid-30's)child just about a year ago at 42, I never had a worry of miscarrying. Just age issues, (and unfortunately weight, then - not now!) and a pesky ob/gyn who thought nfp/God, and prayer was weird. Also wanted to test me for all sorts of old age things - which I never allowed her to do. Whatever! I had lots of prayer warriors, and I will pray for you, your wee one and family.

I LOVE hearing about older Mama's! ;-)

My mother was 41 when my sister was born. My mother is now 75, and my sister is still...well herself.

You do know how this happens, right?

hehe

I will pray for your health, and the younguns.

Congratulations! I'll be praying for y'all. Especially for SIC and the CHICS that they don't do anything to exacerbate the unpleasant moods.

My youngest was born when I was 42 ... sending a prayer that you'll have the fun of telling your other kids about the baby in a few weeks ....

A little late coming to this party - but congratulations! I will be praying for you and your family.

O/T, but I thought you would find it ironic that when you stopped by my blog this evening, you were visitor 23,000. OK, maybe not ironic, but still, it's something!
