Be afraid. Be very afraid.

That's my tempting mantra this week.

I have to present an academic paper Friday, teach a book I've never read (this is part of the ongoing fill-in nightmare for a sick colleague), read and grade 40 papers, and start grading graduating thesis paper drafts. To that end, I'm not planning to blog this week.

Sorry, folks.  But to be honest, I know it hurts me more than you!

I will add my prayers, as well. I can promise at least a Memorare a day, probably more.

Besides, you'll do great!

As a fellow teacher and current grad student, don't worry about the book. Just have the students discuss. Pick a student or two to lead the class discussion.

If all else fails, talk about the book in relation to current events to pull off topic :)

Best wishes that all goes well. You're in my prayers.

No offense here, respected IC, but it should be a litany, not a mantra. My best wishes from an admiring and interested but (sorry) not so frequent visitor.
