Were you there?

Blessed Holy Week. Limited posts until Easter Sunday.

P.s. The music in the Amazon MP3 player at left is what my parish ended with after Passion Sunday mass, the Taize chant Nada Me Turbe...which struck me as an inspired selection. In English, they are the great words of St. Teresa of Avila: "Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you; God never changes; God alone suffices."

Have a deep week, meet God.

Yes, IC, I was there. I accused him and drove the nails in. I put him there, and now I wish to hang there with him.

So maybe we should sing it: "Were you there when I crucified my Lord?"
