A Lede To Remember

On the Vatican's current considerations of extraterrestrial life: "E.T. phone Rome."

When I was a little bit more...dogmatic (read Baptist) in my faith I thought that outright proof of extraterrestrial life would shatter the Christian faith.

At this point, I can't think of anything more ridiculous. I think it was C.S. Lewis who once posited that our God is so loving that if there were other beings in the universe that God would have sought to redeem them too.

Yes, I'm back. Being a college graduate now I'm really feeling the need to keep writing. I'm so fickle in my commitments though. :(

Oh, and speaking of avoiding writing, would you like to do a guest post sometime?

"Phone Rome..." if that happened, then there is definitely intelligent life in outer space!
By now, images of John Paul's funeral would have reached Alpha Centari, maybe we can expect a call? "People of Earth, who is this man you honor so much? What did he do? Why do you weep?"

Gregory--I'm barely keeping up with my own blog with a new baby and all. But I'm glad you're back. Keep writing!

If we find intelligent alien life, I DO hope they are friendly!

I never thought that finding life elsewhere in the universe would shatter Christian faith. I am glad the Catholic leaders no longer think so either!
