Wish you were here

We're on (well, near) one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes! Extra credit if you can guess which one.
Off0-line and camping for a couple of days; back soon.

Hmmm....big lake, therefore...

Mille Lacs or Superior. The waves are too small for Superior, though, altho' maybe possible esp. if in a bay area....

I'd agree with Adoro on eliminating Lake Superior (re: waves and there aren't too many sandy beaches on Superior) and I'd have to eliminate about 10,500 lakes that you can see across, and those that have extensive cabin/resort developments and those that were forested out.

Hmmmm. . . Winnibigoshish? (I've always wanted to spell that. Not sure if I got it right).

I'd vote for Mille Lacs, simply because it's the biggest one I know about. Looks beautiful.

Good guesses, all. We were at Lake Mille Lacs and Lake Ogechie.
