From the sublime to...

This is so wrong on about a million levels.  Plus the lamb cake's eyes look satanic.

Only to be found at Allen's Brain (and I didn't have the heart to post the peep....).

No thanks. I'll skip dessert. Truely awful. Who would eat the head of the cake?

It's definitely the eyes....if they'd done closed w/lashes...maybe but that thing....spooky!

It looks like it's on a bed of cilantro! What in the world?

I've seen a red velvet lamb cake, covered in coconut - it was actually adorable and from what I hear, very delicious. I think the eyes were "closed", though.

This one looks like the sponge cake from Aldi.

Adoro, the cake you describe is a Polish tradition. I've seen it too. This...is the bad, bad, bad addition to a passover seder....

Looks like a SPAM Lamb to me.

Glad you liked (sort of) it! Maybe those are mint leaves, since it's a lamb?

Yikes!

Nooo! Maybe if it had googly eyes it would look more "muppety" and less "satanic." Also, I agree, it looks like a spam lamb.

IC, I captioned the pic as if it were seder-y (bitter herbs), but I don't know that it actually was. Sorry I was misleading.

Allen, I think you're right on this--those leaves look like cilantro to me, and we use that as a bitter herb.

I showed this Lamb cake to others in my office, we work in our parish office by the way!
Egad...the screams from the staff were horrible.
