"Cheeseburger in Paradise" + Chasible = Oh dear...

...Just because Jimmy Buffet used "Paradise" in the title of a song doesn't make the Parrot the Parrotclete.

You're right about the comments--I especially liked the suggestion that the chasuble might be for the "Talk Like a Pirate Day" mass. In which case, could it have come from the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

OOOO I remember that one. It was featured in my ugliest vestments contest and the "artist" who designed it contacted me and harassed me for months!

In "Flaubert's Parrot" the author muses that wouldn't a parrot, that can speak, be more appropriate symbol for the Holy Spirit than a quiet little dove?
On the other hand, we all know the first thing most people teach their parrots :-)
