What Makes A Holy Family?

In honor of this Sunday's readings: an anecdotal list concocted by the most unreliable research methods.

  1. Ibuprofen
  2. Practicing forgiveness
  3. Oatmeal
  4. Praying together
  5. Copious amounts of caffeine (for parents)
  6. Games of charades
  7. Sharing
  8. Velveeta (admit it)
  9. Service together
  10. God
On a more serious note, I think this is a great, somewhat offbeat, "what makes a family holy" song: The Love We'll Leave" from Sarah Hart's The Give and Keephttp://www.spiritandsong.com/compositions/85397

I would have never thought of Velveeta, but that is altogether true.

Better Velveeta than Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. "The cheesiest" actually has NO CHEESE at all in it. The cheesiest tasting perhaps although the cheese taste is not produced with cheese.

I shall neither admit nor submit to the Velveeta heresy.
