Really, it's not you.

You all, I don't know what is going on with Blogger, but I am having a dickens of a time with it.  If I can't figure this out soon, I'll be migrating (ulp) to Wordpress, which I really don't want to do.  But fear not--I'm not dead--just sickened by techie difficulties.

Any encouragement about where to relocate the blog would be appreciated.  Or blogger help--the biggest thing is I cannot post pictures.  Sigh.

Have you tried switching to the HTML view when composing, and tried uploading pictures from there? I have no idea why, but this fixed a problem I was having with uploading pics in Blogger awhile ago.

Which browser are you using?

I have issues with blogger when using Opera, but it works fine for me in Chrome.

Yes, I've tried HTML.

I use Firefox--will try Chrome.

I had difficulty posting pictures the other day but it eventually came right. I know someone who just quit Wordpress for Blogger as he was having difficulties over there- so the grass might not be greener on the other side!

I've been using Firefox with blogger for quite a while now, and I haven't had problems uploading pictures. When it switched me to the 'new'fangled Posting stuff, it took a bit to figure out, but since then it's been pretty smooth.

AS you know, I migrated to WordPress Nov 2011. Been happy ever since - only sticking points are: 1, WordPress doesn't permit plug-ins, but that's no big deal (for instance, traffic data via Sitemeter is non-existent. Your hits get counted, but as far as referring sites and such - no info is generated). And 2, templates aren't as flexible as Blogger.

WordPress.com is the "free" side, while .org is the "pay" side - there might be more flexibility on the .org side, but I can't say for sure because AoftheA is on the .com side.

Ditch Firefox and go Chrome. I upload a lot of pictures these days onto my Blogger blog -- no problem. Before you decide to migrate to WP, let me talk you out of doing that. Really. My gift to you! Don't. Do. It.

I recommend WP to my church clients all the time for a solo blogger like you? You can get everything you need from Blogger. Really. Not that I have an opinion or anything.

Opinion? Meredith? Never. :)
