Thanks for all your prayers for Becky (see posts below). They took her out of hypothermia therapy this morning, and she woke up and was responsive -- if somewhat confused and panicky and trying to ask about her kids (hard to do when you have a ventilator stuck down your throat).
Thanks be to God. She went into this with her odds of survival in the single digits. She has weeks of recovery ahead of her, but her prognosis looks much better.
Thank you again for your support. We now return to your regularly scheduled Catholic humor blog. (Further updates about Becky will be posted to our family blog, GraceWatch).
