St. John Vianney used to bless and bestow as gifts the Cord of St. Philomena. St. Philomena's feast day is soon, and when I read that there's a plenary indulgence attached to wearing the Cord on her feast day, I'm going to make sure that mine is where it ought to be - 'round my waist.

PS - Padre Pio also had enormous devotion to St. Philomena. I know this because I interviewed nuns who knew Padre Pio.
